Speaker Cable

For home audio systems and commercial sound installations, the use of 2-core cable is fairly standard in both low impedance and 100V line cable runs. Its low cost and flexible, so is ideal for running in ceilings and walls.

PA Speaker Cable

For stage speakers and live PA speakers, speaker cable can either be heavy duty twin core if using passive speakers, or will be dual core signal cable for connecting active speakers.

Speaker cable is an essential component of the performance of any audio system, and must be the correct specification to suit the equipment being used in order to avoid damage to amplifiers and speaker drivers.
