The BD80TB from Power Dynamics are modern elegant styled on wall speakers that have high performance drivers and weather resistant casings that make them perfect as commercial outdoor speakers and exterior garden speakers.
For a rich and powerful sound, the BD80TB is equipped with an 8" polypropylene mid and low range woofer driver and a 1" silk dome tweeter unit. These on-wall speakers also include PD's Optimal Bass Enhancement Radiator (OBE), which adds a passive bass radiator driver to the back of the enclosure for superior bass performance.
The tough enclosures, designed primarily for commercial outdoor speakers, are made with a UV resistant ABS resin with an aluminium grille and an aluminium mounting bracket, and have a full IPX5 rating, which means they can be permanently installed outdoors without worry of water damage, sun damage, or rusting to metal parts.
The BD80TB is a high-performance exterior garden speaker that can be fixed vertically or horizontallyusing the angle adjustable bracket, and it has four speaker connections for easy daisy-chain wiring in 100V systems, as well as a simple switch option for the power tap configuration.
These stylish on-wall speakers may be used inside for home stereo and multi-room audio installations with appropriate low impedance amplifiers, or they provide excellent appearance and sound for commercial settings and 100V line systems. The all-weather IPX5 grade allows for the use of the same speakers throughout an installation, regardless of location.
