Undefeated MW2 rust champion.

My favourite music artist is B2B. He is on every lineup but I can never seem to find him.

I am known to have every expensive hobby possible. Cars? Bikes? Djing? Airsoft? Travelling? Computers? You name it, I've tried it.

My deep interest in music can be traced back to one thing … Drum n Bass. This started both my professional career with Electro Market and my own passion for DJing. Learning from the greats like ShyFX, A.M.C, and SIGMA.

I studied at the University of Westminster, specialising in marketing, business development and finance. I am now combining two of my greatest interests simultaneously at Electro Market for both the music and marketing industry. I couldn’t name the last time I went a full day without my music (I still can't tell if this is a good or bad habit).

I am an avid knowledge fan and will dump all my accumulated knowledge on whoever falls victim. A couple mind twisting fun facts for you are that the brain named itself, and Cleopatra of Egypt lived closer to the invention of the iPhone than the construction of the great pyramids.

My career so far has been an interesting one. I started out working on coaches for a travel company in my teen years, I then tried out retail which wasn't for me. I've done bricklaying & landscaping and even ran my own personal training company for a while. I then settled into the marketing industry learning the ins and outs of what it has to offer.

Outside of work you can catch me spinning up on my decks in my music studio, working on cars with my friends or running around in a forest playing airsoft shooting middle aged men with small plastic bb’s. I also try to travel as much as I can to wherever I can. Out of the 36 countries I have been to so far, nothing will beat backpacking in the hot wet rain of Vietnam.

Understanding Speaker IP Ratings and What's Right For You

Imagine setting up an outdoor sound system, only to have the speakers fail after the first heavy rainfall. Or installing warehouse speakers that struggle with dust buildup, leading to poor performance over time. This is exactly why IP ratings exist. These ratings indicate how well a speaker can resist dust, dirt, and moisture, crucial factors when choosing outdoor speakers, waterproof speakers, or marine speakers. While indoor speakers don’t have to deal with harsh conditions, those used outside, in warehouses, or on boats, need protection to ensure longevity. But what do these ratings actually mean? How waterproof is "waterproof"? And do you really need the highest rating available? This blog will break down the essentials of IP ratings, clear up common misconceptions about waterproofing, and help you choose the right level of protection for your setup. Let’s start by looking at what an IP rating actually is and why it matters when selecting a speaker.

Understanding Warehouse Speaker System Requirements

In the hustle and bustle of a warehouse, clear communication is key. With machinery humming, forklifts moving, and teams spread across vast spaces, getting a message from one end to the other can be quite a challenge. Shouting instructions often gets lost in the noise, leading to misunderstandings or missed alerts. This is where a thoughtfully designed warehouse speaker system comes into play. Warehouses are notorious for their high noise levels. The constant operation of equipment creates an environment where verbal communication struggles to make an impact. Add expansive workstations to this, and it's easy to see how conveying even simple messages becomes a daunting task. Meanwhile, miscommunication can lead to delays, errors, and, more critically, safety incidents. In this blog, we'll investigate the essentials of selecting the right commercial audio system for your warehouse. We'll explore the various types of systems available, highlight key features to consider, discuss installation and maintenance tips, and provide insights into budgeting for your investment. Our aim is to equip you with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions that will improve both safety and efficiency in your workspace.
