Introducing this package of eight Fonestar SONORA-5AIPXN on-wall network speakers. With an active design, these speakers are powered by an Ethernet cable that connects to your LAN, reducing the number of cables required for installation. With an IP66 rating, the speakers are perfect for indoor and outdoor settings, such as shopping centres, schools and hospitals.
Each speaker features an inbuilt class D amplifier, meaning that they do not need to connect to an external amplifier. Instead, the speakers feature an Ethernet port to connect to your LAN, providing the necessary power. You can then broadcast audio to the speakers using suitable software on a networked computer. Alternatively, an AIP gate or network streamer allows the speakers to connect easily to other devices on the network, making it highly versatile.
Constructed with an IP66 weatherproof rating, this set of audio over IP speakers can withstand even the harshest weather conditions, making them perfect for outdoor installations. The speaker housing is also salt resistant, which is useful for marine environments. In addition, the speakers come with an adjustable mounting bracket, making it easy to install them horizontally or vertically. A swivel design allows you to position the speakers to maximise sound projection.
Furthermore, each speaker has a 2-way driver layout. This means that there is a separate 5.25-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter driver, contained within the speaker enclosure. This results in a full-range sound perfect for both music and speech because frequencies are distributed between the separate drivers.
