Hanging speaker system with four selectable output zones for use in warehouses, workplaces, and retail locations. This 100V line PA system includes 8x PDS65W speakers and a PRM360 6-channel mixing amplifier for high-quality background music and message paging.
A commercial pendant speaker system is particularly effective in higher noise locations since it allows for controlled sound dispersion and is ideal for buildings with high ceilings or open design. When compared to a wall-mounted speaker option, the pendant design provides a direct focus of sound in each zone, resulting in a lower overall volume throughout the building.
The pendant speakers have an IPX5 rating for moisture and dirt protection, making them an excellent choice for any public address system. The PDS65W speakers are installed from any secure fixing point using the provided steel safety wire, and the 100V line format offers the easiest wiring in multi-zone systems. The 6.5-inch coaxial drivers provide exceptional performance and a defined sound.
The PRM360 mixing amplifier from Power Dynamics has 6 input channels for connecting microphones and music source devices. Its four output zones are button selectable for simple muting or paging of separate zones, and it includes a master volume and tone control, as well as level controls for each input channel.
The amplifier incorporates a built-in MP3 player (USB/SD) for music or pre-recorded message playback, as well as 24v phantom power to its XLR mic input for use with condenser microphones. There is also a Bluetooth wireless connection for easy music streaming from phones or tablets.
