The Fonestar SONORA-5AIPXN in Black is an IP-rated network speaker designed for use in small and large POE speaker systems in shopping centres, hospitals, and schools. It features an active design and is powered by an Ethernet cable linked to your LAN, reducing the amount of cables you need to run.
Rather than a traditional amplifier and speaker arrangement, this wall mount speaker features an Ethernet port that connects to your LAN to be powered. An IP over audio gate or network streamer can provide an audio signal to the speaker, allowing it to connect with many other devices on the LAN.
When installed in an outdoor area, the SONORA-5AIPXN has a weatherproof IP66 rating, which protects it from damage caused by extreme weather conditions. The classic Black housing is salt resistant, making it ideal for installation in marine environments where rain or moisture is prevalent.
This network speaker comes with an adjustable mounting bracket that allows it to be installed horizontally or vertically on a wall surface. The bracket's adjustable swivel design makes positioning the speaker for optimal sound projection simple.
This wall mount speaker has a 2-way driver layout, which means it has a separate woofer and tweeter driver contained within the enclosure. The frequency range of any audio is efficiently distributed between these separate drivers, resulting in a nice full-range sound with excellent clarity that is suited for both music and speech.
