With number of speakers, its down to several factors. First is impedance. The A100 needs between 4-8 ohm, so any connected speakers (wired in parallel) must fit within this. For example, two 8 ohm drivers wired together in parallel will be 4-ohm, but four 8 ohm drivers will be 2 ohm which wont work.
The other factor is power/volume. The A100B is basically an in-wall version of a desktop radio or stereo. Its amplifier is rated at 4x 20W. While this is good for a small unit, if you fit multiple speakers to the outputs, this is then shared. So 1 speaker gets 20W, two speakers 10W etc. It will work, but it wont sound particularly good with lots of speakers, and three are far better ways to have multi-room audio.
