2-zone commercial pendant speaker system with 4x PD65W speakers and a PRM1202 mixer amplifier designed for background music and paging dispersion over the long distances necessary for installation in warehouses, workshops, and retail areas.
Hanging speaker systems are a real problem fixer for installation audio in buildings with high ceilings or open design, allowing for direct placement over certain locations for the optimum performance, with considerably more focused sound dispersion than can be obtained with any wall mounted choices. This concentration of sound in each zone also results in a reduced overall loudness throughout the building.
The supplied commercial pendant speakers have an IPX5 rating against moisture and dirt intrusion and are suspended from any accessible secure beam or rafter using the provided steel safety cord. The PD65W delivers robust performance from its 6.5-inch coaxial drivers, producing crisp sound projection even in high-noise environments.
This 100V line PA system is powered by the 2-zone PRM1202 matrix mixer amplifier, which has dedicated microphone inputs with 24v phantom power. Audio sources such as a CD player may be connected through standard RCA inputs, and the amplifier has Bluetooth and USB/SD connections for MP3 playback. The matrix architecture allows any of the inputs to be sent to any of the two output zones, allowing you to play different music in each.
A PDTM370 desktop microphone with an adjustable pre-talk chime and output volume control is supplied for announcements and everyday paging duties. It has a heavy-duty metal base and an adjustable gooseneck with push-to-talk functionality.
