This WiFi wireless ceiling speaker setup is a full system that includes four pairs of speakers, eight ceiling speaker fire hoods, and all necessary cables to connect everything together. This WiFi ceiling speaker system with 4-zone capabilities plays audio in up to four separate rooms of a home at the same time.
This ceiling speaker system uses WiFi technology to connect to your home network. After connecting each pair of speakers to your WiFi network, you can use an app on a smart device to control the audio being transmitted to each room individually, giving you complete control over the audio output throughout your house.
The WCS5 ceiling speakers included in this WiFi wireless ceiling speaker setup have an active/passive design, meaning that they are supplied in pairs with one speaker having a built-in amplifier and the second speaker being passive. Once they are connected to a mains power supply and linked together, they provide high-quality stereo audio playback.
The WCS5 speakers in this ceiling speaker configuration have a 2-way coaxial design, which means that each unit has a separate woofer and tweeter driver. Because of this design, the frequency spectrum of any music is efficiently distributed between these drivers for a clear sound output.
This kit includes the HOODY 7 ceiling speaker fire hoods, which are to be placed above each speaker in the ceiling to prevent the spread of fire. As well as preventing fire spread, they also help to mute the sound being reproduced by the speakers in the space above where they are installed.
