This WiFi wireless ceiling speaker system is a full setup that simultaneously provides high-fidelity music playback in four different rooms of a home environment. This WiFi ceiling speaker system comes with everything you need to install and operate it, including 8 total speakers and 8 ceiling speaker fire hoods.
The WCS65 ceiling speakers in this WiFi wireless ceiling speaker configuration are active/passive, which means they come in pairs, with one speaker having a built-in amplifier and the second speaker being passive. They deliver high-quality stereo audio playback when connected to a mains power supply and linked together.
This ceiling speaker system uses WiFi technology to connect to your home network. After connecting each pair of speakers to your WiFi network, you can use an app on a smart device to control the audio being transmitted to each room individually, giving you complete control over the audio output throughout your house.
The HOODY 7 ceiling speaker fire hoods included in this ceiling speaker system are required to protect ceiling mounted speakers from the spread of fire. These hoods are designed to fit into any ceiling void, including suspended and plasterboard ceilings, making them a very adaptable and vital complement to an installed speaker system.
The included ceiling speakers in this system have a coaxial 2-way driver arrangement, meaning that there is a separate woofer and tweeter driver per unit. This design splits the frequency range of any audio efficiently between each speaker for a wide frequency output.
