The FCS6 speakers in this commercial ceiling speaker system have a 2-way coaxial driver arrangement, which means that each unit has a separate woofer and tweeter driver. This design offers very precise sound reproduction with a well-rounded frequency response, making it perfect for background music and speech applications.
The Power Dynamics PRM240 amplifier is included with these ceiling speakers for restaurants. This 6-channel power amplifier has various line inputs as well as microphone inputs for speech applications. With Bluetooth technology, you can pair a compatible smart device and wirelessly stream audiofrom any app or streaming service, making it ideal for environments such as businesses and warehouses.
The PRM240 also has an integrated USB/SD MP3 player that lets you connect a USB stick or SD card to play saved audio files, which is useful if you have a playlist that you wish to play automatically. There is an easy-to-use LCD display menu containing ID3 tag information, as well as the option to manually choose the audio file that you want to play.
This kit includes eight ceiling speaker fire hoods, which should be installed above each speaker in the ceiling to prevent the spread of fire. These are necessary in commercial establishments such as restaurants to meet fire safety regulations, and they can be put in a number of ceiling types such as suspended or plasterboard.
