These Power Dynamics WiFi wireless ceiling speakers are the WCS50 model, a high-quality pair of ceiling speakers with an active/passive design that allows you to connect them directly to mains power. This WiFi ceiling speaker system is great for listening to music while working or relaxing at home once it has been connected to a power source and set up.
This system, which uses WiFi technology, can be connected to a home network and then managed by an app on a smart device connected to the same network. A Bluetooth receiver is also included inside the active speaker, allowing you to pair a smart device and stream audio wirelessly without the need for a WiFi connection.
This WiFi wireless ceiling speaker setup has two coaxial 2-way speakers, each with a separate woofer and tweeter driver. The frequency spectrum of any audio is efficiently split between these drivers, resulting in a clear sound output with efficient sound reproduction, allowing you to hear all aspects of the audio you are listening to precisely.
The grilles on each speaker are magnetically attached so that they can be simply removed from the main housing, which is fantastic for customisation if you want to paint them a different colour, for example. When the speakers are installed, the grilles lie near-flush in the ceiling, giving the speakers a very discreet appearance.
This kit includes the HOODY 7 ceiling speaker fire hoods, which are to be placed above each speaker in the ceiling to prevent the spread of fire. As well as preventing fire spread, they also help to mute the sound being reproduced by the speakers in the space above where they are installed.
