The Power Dynamics WT240A is a compact multi-room amplifier that can be utilised as a standalone home stereo system or as part of a larger home networked audio system. This Bluetooth HiFi amplifier is an excellent choice for a low-cost, zone-expandable home music system.
WiFi amplifiers allow you to link your stereo system to a home network, enabling you to listen to internet radio and to access digital music libraries stored on PCs or network storage devices. The system is compatible with players that support Air-Play, DLNA (Android), and Q-Play.
The WT240A has an RJ45 ethernet connector to support its WiFi functionality, which is highly beneficial for establishing a multi-room system because a wired connection ensures zero interference or drop out across zones, which any wireless setup can be affected by and is extremely irritating.
Your music playback and zone settings are organised using the downloadable Legacy player app, which acts as a control hub to any networked music players, storage devices, and additional WT240A amplifiers, allowing you full control of any sized system (up to 16 amps) from your phone or tablet for complete convenience.
These 2x 40W Class-D amplifiers are ideal for living rooms and bedrooms, and have more than enough power for a set of good quality bookshelf speakers, wall speakers, or ceiling speakers. They also include a 3.5mm Aux input for connecting audio from a TV or laptop, as well as an RCA line output for connecting to a more powerful amplifier if needed.
To make the WT240A WiFi amplifiers even more flexible, Bluetooth connectivity lets you to stream music directly from your phone or tablet without using an app or a network. The amplifiers also include a full-function remote control, as well as 10 adjustable preset buttons and an LCD display on the front panel.
